With our many years in the construction industry, we have created certain safeguards that will help us manage projects of all sizes. One of our main concerns is controlling the payments to Subcontractors, Vendors, and Suppliers. In many cases we will recommend a voucher controlled type funding, which requires a field inspection before each pay period and before payment requests are disbursed. These inspections will require that all work related to the draws requested is actually completed. The field inspector will allow for a percentage estimate of the work completed, if different than the draw request. In all cases, our field inspector will review the percentage and quality of work completed. In some cases we may recommend that payments not be disbursed until corrections we observe are made, and/or until governing entities have sign off on their inspections.
